Amazing and uplifting
An awesome new sound for one of the UK's finest groups, this track is so uplifting that it takes your mind off the gloomy weather outside and transports you to the warmest of summer afternoons. Amazing.

This band are not in a state of flux
A great track from a superb band; Bloc Party have pulled-off the awkward trick of developing their sound from spiky Indie Rock to electronica without losing their appeal. Flux is a synth-driven gem that really made me want to get up and dance. This disc contains a live version as well plus the meditative but challenging 'Emma-Kate's Accident' which deals with the subject of domestic abuse without seeming pompous - are you taking notes Bono?

God Bless Bloc Party
Stop gaps between albums are usually very poor, with the exception of Arctic Monkey's 'Leave Before the Lights Come On EP' and The Killers 'Sawdust' and this should also be added to the 'good list.'

This is a new sound for BP and a good one at that. Mixing dance, techno and indie together would usually sound bad and a miss match but BP have pulled it off and delivered a song that is sadly over too soon!
