Rugby League 2 review.4
Rugby league 2 for the PS2 finally arrives and in general, I was not dissapointed. The game is a marked improvement over the 2003 attempt and this shows in the graphics and gameplay elements. It's only let down by the poor commentry (aussie's) and the lack of 'atmosphere' within the stadiums.

The game has a new franchise mode - a la Pro Evo style - where you take over the running of the club you choose. Player's can be bought, contracts terminated etc all under the eager eye of the Salary Cap.

Graphics are a lot more pleasing to the eye with the addition of motion capture, and the gameplay has been overhauled to include new in game features such as ball stealing etc.

All in all, it's not a dissapointment if you can forgive it's minor flaws and slow slugish main menu system.

It's worth thirty quid of anyones money. Buy it.

What A Fantastic Game5
This is the greatest rugby game ever. It has easy gameplay, and the kits/stadia are superb. The game has excellent graphics, and you can quickly get used to it. I really like how it has used the video-ref and added music to the replays to make it feel like sky-sports real life coverage. On the whole, a fantastic game. COME ON YOU BULLS!! BRIAN NOBLE-LEGEND

Better but still not brilliant4
Well it is better than the first version but there are still some flaws in general the game play is better and the new franchise/manager mode is very good although the game still lacks a few crucial items firstly english commentry would improve it, and whoever came up with the stupid screens that come up between every piece of action wants sacking.

Having said that, it is a rugby league game and in general a very good one. Well worth the money!
