A readable history of Comrie and upper Strahearn.
This is an excellent local history book, with about a third of the 50 pages devoted to our village of Comrie in Perthshire. Every page, except one, has a different superb old photograph of times gone by in the village and neighbourhood. It is very well researched with much information accompanying each photograph, some of which I have not seen before. My only criticism is that the small print makes reading rather difficult, but otherwise it is nice to read being written in an easy and informative style.
