Customer Reviews
Useful framework for practitioners and new information
This book goes a long way toward answering the myths of offshore outsourcing and explaining how to go about it with success. The offshore model is clearly presented as a viable business strategy, along with the various methods of working through a 'captive' model or outsourcing. The summary of various regions and their strengths is particularly useful along with the structure of how to go about managing an offshore contract. This is a useful primer for those managers who have not really used the offshore model yet and a good framework guide for those who are already doing it. I highly recommend this book.
Good offshoring overview
This is an insightful overview of the offshoring industry, why companies offshore their work, and not just for cost alone. It's a very good analysis of the offshoring boom and also enters into the arguments of how and why to do it.
