A very good guide to passing the exams but......
DO NOT SOLELY RELY ON THIS TO PASS THE EXAMS.

You need to either go on an approved PRINCE2 course or at least have the companion book Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2. Either the course or the book will give you the information you need to pass the exams. They both have the detail required for you to pass and also give you (especially in the case of a training course) proper examples.

This book is excellent in preparing you for the exams - both multiple choice and 3 hour written paper. A full multiple choice examination is included in this book which is essential practice for getting used to the style of questions you will be asked. For the Practitioner paper, you are given two full scenarios, told what to look for, how to answer it and in the case of one scenario based paper, the suggested answers that the examiner would be looking for.

As you can take this book into the exam with you it is invaluable to have to hand to see what the examiner is looking for.

Again, do not buy this book thinking it alone will get you through the exams - it will not. But as a companion to either a course or the main book, it will help you.

This book definitely lacking in content
This is a very thin booklet rather than a book. The main content is a sample paper for the foundation exam. And an illustration of how to answer a sample Practitioner paper.
This cannot be used as a learning aid unless you already have a comprehensive reference guide for Prince2 and some sort of practical application guide (or you have been on a Prince2 training course already!). Not worth the money.
All the above is only In My Opinion.

Exam preparation
With reference to the much larger manual "Managing Successful Projects with Prince2", this book helped me revise and pass the Foundation Certificate. The syllabus guide helps you not to waste time revising material that is covered in the Practitioner exam and the sample papers help build confidence. The guide to Practitioner would benefit from a broader range of questions.
