Northern Spain(Eyewitness Guide) A great guide
I purchased this book because my son is moving to Northern Spain to live for a year or so. It is packed with useful information about everything you need to know. I am reading up on places to visit and things to see. It also has lots of interesting information about food and wine. Well worth the money. I'll report back in a couple of months time when I've visited the area. I think I'll get a lot of use from this book in the coming year.

Eyewtiness Northern Spain
I purchased this to help in planning a holiday. The genreal overview is ok but the "eyewitness" part of the title is misleading e.g. one hotel was booked on the recommendation that "each room has a sea view" - none of them did!

Useful for planning and general info but poor information once there and I suspect other guides would be better on hotels, restaurants and cafes etc.

waste of money
Just about the poorest travel guide I have ever purchased. Its coverage of the region is sparse with little information on individual places. A bad mistake to buy on the net without checking its contents out
