' A Ghoulishly Good Read'
A friend of mine recently brought a copy of this book in to work and left it in the staff room. It has proved to be immensely popular ever since and every break time there's a battle to get to it first! I think everyone likes a good ghost story don't they? And when a book like this comes along that contains loads of really well written, intelligently illustrated, and creepy tales it's a sure fire winner. I have lived in Hastings all of my life but reading this book has recently given me so much more of an interest in my home town. We all do it don't we? Take our home towns for granted I mean. Well, looking at the many old photo's this book contains of familiar places and reading all of the ghostly tales associated with those places has recently got me out and about the town with my imagination and camera in tow! The book includes tales from all over the Hastings area so there's something for all locals to enjoy, while if you've never been to Hastings and have heard only bad things about it you should try reading this book, I guarantee you'll soon want to visit!
