About the Author
HAMISH HASWELL-SMITH'S sketches and paintings have been widely exhibited in British and Continental galleries, as well as illustrating his books, The Scottish Islands and An Island Odyssey. He is an architect by profession (now retired from his own practice) and a keen yachtsman who has sailed extensively in those beautiful West Scotland waters known to Para Handy and the Vital Spark.
