Cheap Cash in, Avoid.
Unless visual comics are really your thing then this is a complete waste of time. If you want to listen to the music then buy the CD, if you want the CG sequences then play the games, however if you want an overpriced, shallow collection of tat then buy this. The only good point is the interactive menu but they even got that wrong as owners of Silent Hill Origins will realise.
Dissapointing
This product is disappointing. To a fan of Silent Hill, there is nothing new, and nothing challenging about it, I bought it cause I thought it was a game. I was not aware of the 'Silent Hill' comics, so I watched them for a while. They were far removed from the game itself, and I only watched for ten minutes. I guess it is a matter of taste, but I did not like them, and I really do like comics, so this is not a generalisation. The musical scores and interview with composer Akira Yamoaka were original, but only held interest when associated with the game per se. The worst thing was how short the whole 'experience' was. I kept thinking that I had done something wrong. Surely there was more to the UMD than this, as an avid fan of Silent Hill, (all four games played and completed countless times-except the fifth as I do not own a PS3)I found this utterly dispensible. There was nothing new and nothing i liked, and I am easily pleased, so don't get me wrong. Don't buy this, even if you like comics, you'd do better with the paper version. it's terrible. It's a waste of money. Not long after I sold my psp, after only owning it two weeks.
