Customer Reviews

An Excellent Book for the Basics4
I am undertaking training to become a massage therapist and found this book on Amazon totally by accident looking for something else - I'm glad I found it. This book is a great tool if you need to understand the basics straight away, as I found it was clearly written and it doesn't confuse by blinding you with anatomical jargon. The crossword puzzles at the back of the book make studying and revising far more fun and the information you need sticks in your mind this way. As a basic book, this one is one of the best.

Essential for anyone studying or practicing holistic therapy4
As a reflexology student I bought this book mainly as a revision aid as it was only published towards the end of my course. I found it a really useful book as I had previously found it difficult to find an anatomy and physiology book of exactly the right level. It is written in easily understood language with clear illustrations and diagrams. The tests and crosswords throughout the book were excellent for checking my knowledge and helping me focus on those areas requiring further study. I would highly recommend this book to anyone studying a complementary therapy.

It covers all knowledge required for taking VTCT courses4
Although a very basic book, it explains everything without technical jargon. Very good quality diagrams. Throughout the book there are several tasks to test yourself. I particularly liked the fact that you can look up all the answers on the internet. The book claims to contain everything you'll need if you are following the Diploma in Holistic Therapies (VTCT) and other basic Anatomy and Physiology courses. If that is the case, then this book is well worth having.
