About the Author
Jim Mellon is an investor and entrepreneur with a flair for establishing successful companies around the globe. His businesses include a listed fund management company, an Asian mining group and an Isle of Man based bank. Burnbrae, his private company, is a substantial landlord in Germany and in the Isle of Man, and also owns Sleepwell Hotels.

Al Chalabi is a business consultant and entrepreneur who has been based in Asia for the past 13 years. He has extensive experience in establishing and growing businesses in developing economies. Currently based in Hong Kong, Al has lived, studied and worked in the UK, Canada, France and the United States.

really good book
A brilliant book by brilliant authors. This is probably the only investment book you really need. Investment is, as the authors write, really not that hard. Following the advice contained in the book can make a world of difference to your economic future; everyone should read this book.

The key to securing your financial future!
As someone in financial services industry I am very familiar with investment themes such as those presented in this book. What I was impressed by was how simple and obvious the authors' made these investment ideas seem. There is nothing to be afraid you won't understand in this book - no complex financial products, financial wizardry or the like. Just common sense ideas all staring us in the face which as the book suggests are not get rich quick schemes, but the key to securing one's financial future.

On the bus, on the train, it's paperback time
Glad to see it is in paperback. This is still a great find.

Originally, I was recommended by a friend who would not let go off his own copy. I thought it might be way over my head as I am not in the financial field. But rest assured it is made for the majority of people that are not in anyway in the field or hooked on Bloomberg.

A good, down to earth book with solid advice. Thanks! When is the next book?
