      Synopsis
All 3 of the films is Sam Raimi's cult horror series, EVIL DEAD, are contained in this special collector's edition. The original, Raimi's first film, has achieved legendary status since its 1982 release, and for good reason. It is the story of five college-age friends who travel to a cabin in rural Tennessee where the stumble upon the Book of the Dead, an ancient tome bound in human flesh and inked in blood. After unwittingly awakening the unspeakable terror told of in the book, each of the friends is transformed into the evil dead, one by one, except for Ash (Bruce Campbell). So Ash is left with no other way to survive than to dismember the living corpses of his sister, girlfriend, and two of his friends. Shot on a shoestring budget, the film boasts some impressive camera work and extremely over the top gore effects.
In the first sequel, EVIL DEAD 2, a group of people are trapped in a cabin while ancient evil lurks outside and threatens a fate worse than death. Can brawny wiseguy Ash save the day, or will his dead girlfriend come back to cause more trouble

The favorite Movie, The Favorite Package5
Wow... This Trilogy pack of 1980's classic horror movie "The Evil Dead" is my very favorite DVD pack, not just because of my all time favorite movie The Evil Dead, but it also contains the Dead by Dawn, Army of Darkness and the most imprtant disc is full unmated version (which is the original theatrical auspect ratio of the movie in 80's) of The Evil Dead (Book of The Dead) it it would give me 100% satisfication.

So I suggest it to all Evil Dead lovers to buy it soon as possible.

thatcher vs evil dead 80's movie expose5
Thatcher Vs the evil dead 1980's movie
Expose
By
Frankie Smales

In the 80's prime minister Margret Thatcher started
An campaigne to ban violent horror movies from being released
And shelved on video one of them was Sam rami's cult movie classic
The evil dead because it contains an level of brutal violence including
The tree rape scene where an woman got attacked by an demonic tree
And due to the big Sucess at the big screen along came the video release and thatcher did not want it to be released on video and labled
The evil dead as an video nasty and according to the various tabloids
Stated that the evil dead was one of the most vile movies ever and
Also wanted it band along with horror movies like i'll spit on your grave and the cannibalistic movie cannibal ferox but later in an interview with Johnathon ross the writter and director of evil dead Sam rami came clean and apoligise for any offence the movie it caused for the tree rape scene in evil dead and rami said that he regretted for that scene that was included and he even testified in court that the evil dead movie was not intended to offend viewers and the movie was
Realy intend to shock people and make them laugh before the movie was exposed as an movie shocker nasty the novelist creator for blockbusting novels like the stand and Carrie Stephen king gaved
The evil dead an approval to Sam rami and the director of the movie continued to protest to get the movie uncut and for general video released and the company palace video who released video hits like high spirits got the rights from the producers of evil dead to get it
Released on both Beta max and later on Vhs format the board of censors
Failed the evil dead movie the first time and labled it an video nasty but it did
Not Stop Sam rami for getting the movie released on video and shelved
At video and record stores in the united kingdom but later the Brittish board of certification finaly give the evil dead the green light and got
It released by palace home video and got it distributed accross the uk
In video an d record stores and the evil dead video succession was sky high and it led Sam rami along with the movies producers Bruce Campbell and Robert tappert to make the next installment of the
Evil dead franchise and from then on it got an huge fan based world
Wide over but the legacy of banning horror movies were far from
Over and the battle continues and the evil dead will always remain
One of the Most Great 1980's horror movies ever made even after
Margret Thatcher is gone and the movie sky Rocket the Careers of
The director Sam rami who later did the evil dead sequels and
Bruce Campbell who later did maniac cop and Xena and the fan base
Will Continue to Explode.

groovy!!!5
i own all 3 films but not on this collection i brought them sepratly which ok it cost me more but i got the orignal speical features which works out better as the evil dead one had a gallery with a twist evil dead 2 had a documetry with a mini moive at the end and evil dead 3 had both the theatrical and dirctors cut and you don't get those in this set

but if your jsut after the films then let me tell you about them

EVIL DEAD:the orignal shock horror as of where ash was without one liners but the msot voilent of the 2 and a great movie no doubt

EVIL DEAD II:"dead by dawn" the remake to evil dead.this is a groovy movie ash is more of a comical charicter with funkey one liners and theres a great bit where he cuts off his own hand puts it under a buket and puts a pile of books on top and on that pile is a book called farewell to arms.

EVIL DEAD 3:"ARMY OF DARKNESS" this takes off where the last one finshes ash is in medievil times and he once again has one liners my faverets in this one being "shop smart shop s-mart and this is my boomstick"

if you like this triolagy i recomend u pick up where evil dead 3 leaves off and get your self a copy of evil dead:hail to the king on ps2 and if you complete that get the sequels

coming soon {hopefully} is the new evil dead ramake{not staring ash *looks confused*} and evil dead 4:hail to the king
