	Full Metal Jacket [1987] Buy new: £4.79 / Used from: £2.98 Two great films in one. Boot camp and wartime. Comically dark and enthralling take on Vietnam from Kubrick.A must own. Poontang!

	Empire Of The Sun - Special Edition [1987] Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £13.67 Heart warming WWII drama,about the effects of Prisoners Of War, told from the view of a 12 year old boy.Beautifully shot by Spielberg with an amazing performance from a young Christian Bale.
	Black Hawk Down (2 Disc Set) [2002] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.75 Superb yet disturbingly real account of America's failed gun-ho mission to Somalia. Bullets fly from start to finish. Carnage.
	Kelly's Heroes [1970] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.98 Drinking wine and eating cheese......Great war flick thats perfect sunday viewing...everytime.
	All Quiet On The Western Front [1979] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.88 Just about the only decent WWI movie made.
	Casualties of War Buy new: £4.97 / Used from: £1.69 Superb, overlooked Vietnam Drama. May be Brian DePalma's finest work,with a great performance from a young Sean Penn.
	Das Boot (Directors Cut) [1981] Buy new: £4.68 / Used from: £2.49 Tense submarine WWII classic from Wolfgang Petersen, providing a much needed human element from the German perspective. Nail biting Drama.(subtitled version reccomended )
	Enemy at the Gates [2001] Buy new: £3.82 / Used from: £2.18 Just falls short of being amazing,due to glaringly obvious,script and acting flaws(inc Jude laws accent) but a thrilling story of the famous Russian sniper Vassily Zaitzev.
	Memphis Belle [1990] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.22 Great story of the 25th and final mision of the 'Memphis Belle' B17 bomber.Lacks depth but it's easy viewing, and is one of few to tell stories of the bombers and pilots in the war.
	Jarhead [2005] Buy new: £2.97 / Used from: £0.92 A great insight into the modern marine/modern warfare based in the Gulf (part 1.) Features some the hottest actors around at the moment
	Catch - 22 [1970] Buy new: £5.91 / Used from: £11.70 You probably won't like this if you've read the book, but if you haven't definitely worth a look.
	To End All Wars [2001] Buy used from: £10.97 Underrated and generally unheard of POW war film. Great performances make this film powerful and emotional.
	Schindler's List [1993] Buy new: £6.48 / Used from: £5.62 Not one to watch over and over,but essential War viewing. Harrowing account of the Holocaust thats Respectfully brilliant. You won't believe this actually happened!
	Saints And Soldiers Buy new: £4.46 / Used from: £1.78 Suprising low budget WWII flick. Definitely worth a look.
