	Happy Gilmore [1996] Buy new: £2.98 / Used from: £1.49 An early Adam Sandler, set the pace for the rest of his work but went straight to video. Three words: Pant-wettingly funny.
	Empire Records [1996] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £15.25 Coming of age film following a group of McJobbers working in a record store.
	Blue Juice [1995] Buy used from: £4.84 Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sean Pertwee and Ewan McGregor before they were famous. Set on the surfing beaches of the Cornish north coast. Best surf film I've ever seen.
	Tube Tales [1999] Buy new: £5.99 / Used from: £3.40 Unmissable collection of short stories all set on the London underground. Each with a different director (Bob Hoskins, Ewan McGregor, Jude Law, etc) and starring familiar names such as Ray Winstone
	The Goonies [1985] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.94 You've got to either be a teenager or have a teenage sense of humour for this one.
	Big Fish [2004] Buy new: £5.26 / Used from: £1.80 Wonderfully weird.
	Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid [1969] Buy new: £3.64 / Used from: £2.50 Classic cowboys.
	Fallen [1998] Buy new: £4.97 / Used from: £2.49 Hautning at times with a great performance from one of my favourite actors, Denzel Washington. Very clever.
	Once [2007] Buy new: £5.98 / Used from: £4.00 Best film I've seen recently, low budget Irish romance, buy the soundtrack.
	The Insider [2000] Buy new: £5.97 / Used from: £2.49 Russel Crowe taking on a different role as an executive for a Tobacco firm. Art imitates life in this clever contemporary story.
	Casino [1996] Buy new: £2.61 / Used from: £1.25 My favourite 'mob' film, classic performance by Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro as partners taking over Vegas.
	The Departed (2006) Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.87 Great modern day 'mob' story. makes you think all the way through and two big guns Leonardo Di Caprio and Matt Damon nicely balance out the cast. Another great performance by Jack Nicholson.
	Meet Joe Black [1999] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £4.45 More than just a romantic story - Brad Pitt, the Devil incarnate, falls in love with Anthony Hopkins' daughter. Hopkins is great. One to watch with your boyfriend/ girlfriend.
	Fight Club [1999] Buy new: £3.14 / Used from: £2.36 High adrenaline, clever, violent and funny - a rare combination.
	The Hoax [2007] Buy new: £5.98 / Used from: £1.99 Richard Gere stars in this true story about (as the title suggests) an elaborate hoax. Very enterntaining.
	Top Gun [1986] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.35 What can I say - a modern classic - made before Tom Cruise's ego started to eat him.
	The Business [2005] Buy new: £3.84 / Used from: £2.42 London Gangsters Ray Winstone and Danny Dyer living in the fast lane in spain's Costa Del Sol. Great Brit-gangster flick.
