All official teams and all 25 riders from the championships; legendary machines such as the Ducati 996, Honda RC45 and Kawasaki ZX-7RR, and World famous riders such as Carl Foggarty and Aaron Slight.

As well as incredibly realistic bike physics, meaning superb handling and spectacular crashes.

Artificial Intelligence with computer opponents being aggressive, performing overtaking maneuvers, avoiding obstacles and riding right on the bike's limit.

Various difficulty levels and rider assistance, allow you to increase realism as you increase your skill, while the split-screen mode allows you to have a one-on-one duel with a friend.

The third instalment in the season, Superbike 2001, retains former champion Carl Fogarty as a tribute to his retirement, along with his Ducati 996 bike.

Unlike the 2000 edition there was no AMD processor incompatibility, and the graphics are as slickly rendered as before with practically no scenery pop-up. Unlike the 2000 edition, however, the detailed manual outlining the history of the relatively new championship is absent in this instalment. So once the three extra tracks and season data with accompanying helmets, riders and teams are added, that's really all that's new apart from the change of commentator, that's if you leave this feature on after the first time you try it and it distracts you into crashing.

We're in the FIFA situation here; only die-hard fans need apply if you own the 2000 edition, though if you only had 1999's Superbike World, skip an edition and get the latest. --Kenneth Henry

Superb superbike racing sim
The EA franchise is renowned for polished games, and this is no different. This game features all of the official tracks, as well as all the top riders, including Haga, Edwards, and the all time king, Carl Fogarty. The game itself contains superbly realistic graphics, and the bikes handling has been modelled brilliantly. The championship mode alone ensures that this game will last a very long time, as it offers a very tough challenge. This is an amazing game that anyone will enjoy.

EA Sports are known for there exellent sports games and this is one of them.The Graphics rule and there are many tracks to keep you occupied . It is definatly worth the money and will last all long time with all the levels avaiable.!!WICKED

Well al I can say is I get so giddy.....cor its not easy trying to get around any of the tracks, and the selection of motorbike is essential as also the settings on your joystick.
The Ducati always gets me into the sand.... great stuff though.
