Excellent book for single gals!
This book is absolutely excellent. It gives plenty of hints and tips about dating, including letting the man pay at first - which may be a tough one for some of us! Other hints include making sure you take time for yourself so you are capable of giving something to the man in your life. How many of us try to give what we haven't got?

The book even offers some good advice about admitting you don't want to be single anymore in the first place! Most of us don't want to be single anymore, or else we wouldn't be buying this book...

It is easy to use this book as a bible when dating, particularly if it has been a long time since you dated, or if your dates have been rather dysfunctional in the past (if you've had dates like this you'll know what I mean...lol!)

I am about to buy this book for the second time. I gave my first copy to a friend who also loved this book. She hadn't dated for 3 years, started dating straight away and fell in love...she has now passed the book onto someone else..and so the chain goes on. In the meantime I need a new copy!

I also own 2 copies of the Surrendered Wife, also an excellent book, and highly recommended once in an established relationship or if you are trying to rebuild a troubled relationship.

As always Laura Doyle delievers the goods. This is an amazing and excellent book. I wouldn't say that you will be able to be on board with 100% of it--some her suggestions will nettle you but it's still well worth the read for the tidbits you'll get. It's occasionally cheesey but that makes it all the more fun to read. I have reccomended this book to many a friend and it's most definately worth the funds to give you a new outlook and attitude about dating.

A Paper - but Worthwhile - Friend!
This is an entertaining and amusing little read, packed with sensible tips and suggestions to bring lurrrrve into the lives of single women. It is written with the candour of a best girl friend's frank, well-meaning and open wisdom and the forgiveness of an understanding mother - a great amalgam, earning four stars instead of five because occasionally the boundaries for me personally were pushed a tad too far; However, a handy little tome with sound, modern advice and well worth a purchase if Mr Right is still meandering in the mist.
