Synopsis
One of the fundamental problems in biology and medicine is that of individual differences in biorhythms and reactivity. This book considers the problem from the point of view of symmetry and harmony, applying the new discipline of functional biosymmetrics to explore the functioning of an organism and its reactivity. Using examples from previous studies by chronobiologists and biorhythmologists, the author illustrates how reactivity and biorhythms are closely interrelated and determined by a common parameter - reaction rate, in terms of which living organisms are divided into biosymmetric groups. This innovative work should be of interest to readers involved in theoretical biophysics and medical practice.
