Take Your First Step To A Healthier Lifestyle, With The Juicelady by Russell Hobbs
Fresh juice, provides us with minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids, carborhydrates and much more, which are vital in maintaining good health. The World Health Organisation recommends that we include five portions of fruit and vegetables in our daily diet to keep us fit and healthy and one of the easiest and healthiest ways to add them to your diet is to juice.
Featuring a patented high/low switching system for maximum juicing efficiency, which allows you to change from one speed to the other without switching off, the Juicelady by Russell Hobbs will juice a wide variety of fruits and vegetables quickly and easily. Use the high speed setting for spinach, celery, carrots and ginger, while the low speed setting is suitable for cucumbers, plums, oranges, tomatoes and grapes.
With the Juicelady running, gradually feed the cut fruit or vegetables into the chute, if necessary push them gently down with the pusher, until you have your required amount of juice. The pulp from the fruit and vegetables is automatically separated from the juice and collects in the pulp container. The pulp collected can then be utilised as the basis for preserves when fruit is used, or in the case of vegetables as stocks for soups.
Designed with ease of use in mind, the Juicelady by Russell Hobbs, is suitable for left or right handed use and can be easily dismantled for easy cleaning, four rubber feet are also included for stability on the counter top.
Additional features include, a stainless steel permanent mesh filter with titanium coated cutting blade, which helps to ensure the long life and endurance of the blade, while maintaining peak sharpness on the cutting surfaces. The Juicelady also includes a dedicated power on switch and a safety interlock on/off function, which will prevent the machine from operating, should it not be re-assembled correctly after cleaning.

Customer Reviews
Expect better from a juicer at this price level
Potentially a very good juicer but there are a number of problems with this machine.
1. It leaks from under the stainless steel bowl and juice gets everywhere making it a very messy juicer to use; this happens with all types of vegetables and fruit.
2. This machine is not very good at extracting juice compared to the L'Equip it is very inefficient.
3. Clogs easily around the chute for the pulp recepticle.
4. Cuts out and will not work for intermitent periods.
Finally, my machine has developed a fault and will not work at all now after only around 12 uses. I will be sending it back for a full refund and will purchase another L'Equip (centrifuge model) to complement the one I already have that is a masticating type.
In conclusion, I do not recommend the Russel Hobbs Juicelady it is too expensive and not very good for the purpose for what it is intended for; making lots of delicious vegeatable and fruit juices.
Very poor build quality - do not touch with a bargepole.
As all other reviewers have said... works great for a little while then all the plastic parts start to fail. The plastic is too soft and the key parts are too thin. They are supposed to hold in compression against a thin steel edge while a big motor goes round fast and causes plenty of vibration. Not a chance in hell.
When mine died I opened it up to see if I could repair it and the amount of shredded plastic that fell out was hilarious.
"Commercial Quality"? I do not think so!
Utter rubbish. Do not consider buying one.
Juice Lady
I had some concerns about this juicer after I bought it, but in fact in comparison with other juicers it comes out very near the top for its price range. It makes a somewhat flimsy impression as it consists of quite a few plastic parts, it can be tricky to put together (hence the spewing described by other users, it really has to be assembled carefully to avoid a mess), and it is a b****r to clean.
However, it is very powerful and will juice almost anything you throw at it -or in it- and it will do so VERY efficiently, leaving very dry residue behind. The juice is excellent, without bits, and nice and 'fluffy'. Having seen other juicer at various friends' households, I would NOT exchange my Juice Lady for any other.
