Cocoa for Dummies4
A great starter book which introduces you to the basics and let's you feel you've achieved something without boring you with too much detail on syntax/data types/structures etc.. However, once you've understood and completed the book, you'd probably want something that covers things in much greater detail to allow you to develop your skills.
