Jackie Drakeford, an authority on ferreting?5
In my opinion, yes! This book should be on the bookshelf of every ferret owner.

A very easy read, that’s full of information on how to go ferreting successfully.
With chapters on choosing ferrets, the equipment needed, gaining permission from landowners, working your ferrets, how to set your nets correctly, as well as shooting & the use of lurchers.
There are plenty of photos and illustrations too, which not only add to the content, they also help demonstrate what Jackie is trying to get across to the reader.

I have participated in the sport since my youth, and I recommend this book to anyone & everyone who wants to learn about the sport.

A must for any ferret owner5
I have two pet ferrets, but after reading this book I believe that both myself and my ferrets would be capable of working together to hunt rabbits. I have wanted to do this for a long time but always thought that pet ferrets would not be able to. This book is so informative and easy to read.
