Great Viewing that leaves you wanting more!
This is surely one of the best British police dramas in recent years with an explosive lead in David Hayman and the writing talents of Lynda La Palante makes this a true joy to watch. Each volume is is solid with a great involving storyline which is meaty and intelligent to watch. When are the next volumes avaialble as I will pre-order immediately- great value for money!

More of the same
This is my second T&R Collection bought for my wife and it is as good as the previous one. The stories are a bit slicker, as you would expect, and perhaps a little more contrived, but L La Plante is as good as ever. As I found with the first collection, you need a gap of a day or two at least between each episode to stop you becomong confused as to what's going on.

But very good value for money. Top class writing and (majority of) acting. Just sneaks 4-stars.

Victoria Smurfit spoils it!
Insp.North (Kate Buffery) was a totally credible charactrer as a police officer just like Jane Tennison. Unfortunately her replacement, Victoria Smurfit is quite beyond belief. She has no credibility whatsoever as a polce officer (in episodes 7 and above).

She spoils an outstanding series - Don't bother with the more recent short episodes..
