Getting to know the rules of golf!!
As Lady Vice Captain of our local golf club I am keen to ensure that all of our lady members 'play by the rules'. Consequently, I am always looking for opportunities that will help me to improve my knowledge and understanding of the rules, as well as that of our lady members, in a straight-forward and user-friendly way. This book fits the bill perfectly, with clearly-written explanations of the rules combined with brilliant illustrations of particular aspects. It addresses the rules in a logical order, reflecting situations as they may arise in play from tee to green, and fits comfortably into a golf bag pocket for easy accessibility on the course. The index tabs are coloured-coded which helps players to find the relevant section quickly and, if further clarification is needed, the official rule number is indicated after each heading. In addition, its laminated pages ensure its durability whatever the weather. My copy is now a permanent resident in my golf bag and has already been put to very constructive use on the golf course. I shall certainly be recommending it to all of our ladies - and mentioning it to the men's committee too!!!

Really practical
This is a super, practical book with all the information you need. Suitable for beginners and advanced golfers alike. Gives great tips on how to save a few strokes and avoid penalties. Easy to use and small enough to carry around with you. Highly recommended.

handy & waterproof !
super little book. Im new to golf and just completed the "rules exam" held here in Holland. The R&A Rules are obviously definitive, but dry and lengthy and not so useful as a quick guide whilst out playing.

This little book (15x10 cm, about the same as a standard photograph), has plastic coated pages (so it should stay waterproof inside your golf bag) and has useful tab-index depending on where you are on the course. So if you're in a water hazard, go straight to the water-hazard tab and all the rules affecting your current predicament are presented using clear colour drawings.

All my mates now want one.
