Now I'm hooked on Bead and Button's selections!
I'm delighted with this book - the designs are interesting, and very varied, the book is divided into 4 sections - threading, wirework, stitching and all the rest - bead crochet, embroidery and macrame.

Basic techniques and stitches are clearly explained, there's a section of useful tips and techniqies for each main section, there's a real variety of designs to sample.

Some of the designs are from Bead and Button staff, and some are submitted by other beaders - however, Bead and Button editors try every set of design instructions to make sure they work, amending as necessary, or to increase clarity. These designs mostly all seem pretty delectable, hours of beading fun ahead, and I'm sure future volumes (this is vol 1) will be equally excellent, as they are the 100 best designs from each year's worth of magazines.

I've already got several beading books by single designers, which I've very pleased with, but the possibility of seeing what different designers do, and with clear instructions, which can of course be easily adapted, is GREAT!
