    Utterly Amazing5
I bought this to replace a 15" CRT monitor, so maybe that is partly why I am so impressed, but this is a very good monitor. Here are the pros:

1)Good picture. Whether playing games, looking at text, viewing photos etc. this monitor does well. It has a 1:2000 contrast ratio, which is very big for something of this price. There are several different modes of operation for pictures, movies, text and normal use. These are easy to find and use. It also has support for 1440x900 resolution, which looks great for XP or Vista.

2)Looks nice. The casing around the monitor is plastic, but manages to not look one bit tacky. It has a stand but can be wall mounted with tools (though I haven't tried this). It is very compact and neat, yet 19" widescreen so with plenty of viewability.

3)Great value. This monitor is very cheap yet very good. If you are thinking that you should buy a slightly cheaper one, such as the "Hanns" ones I have seen, don't. Spend an extra £20 and get this one, with a bigger resoultion and better contrast.

4)Generally great. Easy to use settings, and with a useful auto-adjust feature to move the picture into the middle of the screen (no more manual "left a bit, up a bit".

5)English and French power cables are included, plus several manuals and guarantees in multiple languages. It is also well packaged, with packaging easy to remove yet very protective and padding.

    Cons:

1)No digital DVI input, but plenty of adaptors can be bought which negate this problem, and most older/current graphics cards only have non-digital/VGA slots.

    A couple of tips:

1)Do NOT be put off by the lack of inbuilt speakers. Nearly every set of inbuilt monitor speakers will sound tiny and awful unless you buy a very very expensive monitor. Spend £20 getting a decent set of speakers elsewhere.

2)If you do buy this monitor, but cannot get the max resolution, it will not be the monitor's fault. You will probably need your latest graphics card drivers. Find out whether you have an nVidia or ATI graphics card (or other onboard graphics maker) and download the latest drivers from the chipset maker's site. THis can happen on any monitor.

    Conclusion:
This is a cheap, bright, good value, good looking, large screen, compact, easy to use and set up monitor.

Great monitor, amazing price - very happy!!5
After trawling the well-known 'specialist' PC sites for a 19" Widescreen monitor, I came across this on Amazon and was impressed with both the product and the price. Free delivery was the icing on the cake - well done Amazon. The monitor arrived today, 3 working days later, setting up took minutes, the auto-adjust feature helping greatly (just make sure you turn the monitor on before booting up your PC), and luckily my graphics card supports the required 1440 x 900 screen resolution.
Crisp, clear, very bright and a massive improvement over my 17" CRT. It looks stunning too, much better quality than others at around this price on rival websites, so I couldn't be happier! I'd recommend this to anyone and I notice there are also a 20" and 22" version of this available, and if they are as good as this, quite a bargain also.

Amzing Value for money, and good looking too!5
I recently needed a new PC, and although the package deals seemed OK, I decided to have a look round and see if if I could save money buying the monitor separately. So as usual I ended up looking here on Amazon, where the customer reviews have always guided me in the right direction. At £105, it is a well priced, good-looking monitor with it's glossy black edging, and the set-up was simple and fast.

Once the auto-setup had completed, I manually adjusted the screen resolution to 1440 x900. The one problem I had was that for the first few days there seemed to be a number of equidistant slightly blurry vertical lines (about 2cm wide) down the screen when reading text. I thought maybe it was my eyes, but I eventually realised it was the definitely the screen. So I 'googled' blurry vertical lines and hey presto, I am not alone, and quickly find a solution. Press the Auto button on the base of the monitor and it then runs an auto-adjust process and once complete the display is perfect.
