Cheapest Price
This is currently MUCH cheaper than canon or directfoto so it does pay to check for up to date prices.

Up to date information!
In fairness, I looked at both Canon and Directfoto prices today (14th April 2009) after reading the other review on this item - and found Canon more expensive and Directfoto saying they didn't stock it! So, things obviously don't stay the same for ever, although it does pay to shop around.

Excellent quality
Bought these replacement cartridges (a three pack of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) for my Canon Pixma MP540 and can report they are excellent. So far, these originals have been in place for a couple of months or more now, and still no streaks or patchy prints have been produced. The quality of the inks, in conjunction with the printer, are as good as any I have come across for a home PC printer (and I have seen a few)
