Bought for OU Language Course 2008
I bought this alongside the Spanish Grammar book as they are both set books for the OU course. High St book shops are a lot more expensive,I saved £5.00!! Both books are set out in a really easy & logical format.

Very good concise dictionary
I've been impressed by this dictionary. The printing and layout are worth particular mention, being clear and easy to read quickly - making it very accessible. While it is a concise dictionary rather than a full reference work, that is all I really need to accompany my language classes, and it makes it a lot lighter to carry around!

Collins Easy Learning Dictionary
As a teacher I recommend this dictionary to my students and have bought class sets to use in lessons. It has a fairly straightforward verb table which will be extremely useful for the new GCSE coursework, as well as colour coding and clear layout within the main body.
My only criticisms are:
1) that the verb tables could have some English help alongside the Spanish to give a little more guidance.
2) that the covers and overall structure could be a tiny bit sturdier to cope with being handled by lots of students and pulled in and out of crates during the school day (a little carelessness leads to repairs being necessary as the covers come loose and sections of pages fall out)

The second criticism is, of course, null and void if you are an individual looking after your own copy!
