Customer Reviews

A good all round reference book for student teaching assistants5
This book is really good for Level 2 and 3 students taking the NCFE Certificates in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools as well as the NVQs and SVQs.

It is well written, directly relevant to the courses, and provides lots of information about classroom practice. It is easy to use and up-to-date, currently (2009.

This is the book I will be recommending to my students in September for their main purchase.

Teaching Assistants Hand book5
I bought this and it was just what I was looking for. It is a great book full of knowledge especially if you are going to work in a school

Worth investing in!5
Tina Kamen knows her stuff. I teach 'soon to be' teaching assistants, and find this book easy to read and follow, especially for those mature students that haven't studied for a while. Crammed with essential information, well explained. A good one to invest in if you're thinking of a career in children's settings.
