Manufacturer's Description
DryZone is the world’s first totally waterproof, soft-sided camera backpack. Even fully loaded, they float so your gear is always protected. The inner drypod with patented, waterproof TIZIP™ zipper provides 100% watertight protection. It’s like a drysuit for your equipment. When less protection is needed, leave the TIZIP™ open and fasten just the inner zipper and top clip for easier access. The heavy-duty, padded camera compartment inside is fully customizable while the outer shell comes complete with a technical backpack harness. Also included, ergonomic lumbar support, fully adjustable CollarCut™ shoulder straps, tuck-away tripod holder, self-draining mesh pockets, drain hole, rubber handle, and attachment loops for SlipLock™ accessories. DryZone packs are comfortable to wear and give you total peace of mind in extreme environments.

Great Product if your using it as designed5
I've had a Lowepro Dryzone 200 since they came out, if you need to take your equipment into the British wilds/weather, I"ve used mine in the most horrendous storms of water and ice, i've even fallen over in a river whilst wading across immersing the pack completely, just as it says on the label not a drop of water got in, however if you don't ford rivers and go out in storms, think about your needs, it's a little heavier than it's non waterproof counterpart, it's waterproof zip system can be aright royal pain in the bum as it is harder to open and close than a normal zip. If you need waterproof then it's the BEST bit of kit on the market and by the way you can just about carry a Mamiya RZ in these if your careful about your packing and pack for your needs not desires), but I also own a Tamrac Expedition 7 for less wet missions.

Tough bag, brilliant design and yes.....waterproof.5
Lowepro bags in general are very good in terms of range, design, and most importantly, build quality. The DZ200 however, tops most of the camera gear bags in terms of space and strength. There are very few camera storage systems out there that can actually claim to be waterproof. But this bag does it all.
I have used one for around three years now. I trust it fully, where ever I travel. In it, I protect a couple of Canon pro DSLRs, 100-400L, 24MM tilt/shift lens.....and so on.
Bottom line is, a fantastic rucksack for camera/video equipment.
