Giving Hope in an Uncertain Time5
I have to say as a mother of a 31/2 year son who has diplegia cerebral palsy, the handbook was a godsend to me. It meant that I did'nt have to keep on answering questions rude or otherwise about how Isaac my son, was affected. Those who were interested did read the handbook, and the ones in it for the gossip, did'nt take the time, - you can see who the true friends are!!

Cerebral palsy in my son, has caused many traumas and tears, yet though this, Marion's handbook continues to give us hope and awareness in an uncertain time. I think it should be recommended to medical professionals, education and the government as they are still lacking in the knowledge of the more practical issues facing parents, i.e. why does the shoe industry provide so little choice for children who wear othotic splints? provide wider fittings and Isaac and I would be laughing.

Read the book, consider what is said and remember there are other parents out there, benefitting from reading this warm hearted and informative book.
