useful over a long period
This book will be useful once the baby has been born also. It has lots of tips and tricks on how to save money and is to the point which I like as you can re-visit particular sections at your leisure.
Alot of the content is common sense to be fair though i.e. you don't need to buy baby designer clothes as baby won't care what it is wearing....but it is useful to get a bit of encouragement that you aren't going over the top with your cost cutting exercises.
Would recommend it to all to help all mums maintain a normal level of spending.
Essential for new mums wanting to save money
I bought this book in anticiation of the birth of my second child and I couldn't be more impressed. At last a book that offers solid, actionable advice from someone who has obviously done it. This book not only offers an essential resource for those giving up work altogther but will be a great asset for anyone who just wants to save some money when baby comes along whether working or not. Excellent!!
PRACTICAL HELP
I was very impressed with this book - it is not only a very good read, but is full of practical information. Whether you are having only the time allowed with Maternity pay, or hoping to have the full time off until your child is ready for school, the book provides ways of amusing your child for a very small cost (or no cost at all) and also gives details of all the help you can apply for - Essential reading for all new mums.
