About the Author
Dr Brunskill is the acknowledged authority on vernacular architecture and author of the definitive book on the subject Traditional Buildings of Britain. He was born in Cumbria and now lives in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

As a model enthusiast, this book is a must.It differenciates the various vernacular architecture of Britain wonderfully. I believe it has been in print since 1981, and I am surprised it has not recieved an earlier review of :-
