During this time he helped create the iconic album covers for "Queen II" and "Sheer Heart Attack" and conducted solo photo sessions with Freddie and Roger. Previously unseen out-takes and test Polaroids from these sessions are included in the book, as are over 120 live photographs, many of which are being published for the first time.

Classic Queen Review
'Classic Queen' by Mick Rock is a collaboration of photos that Mick Rock took of the band Queen from the period between their first album, 'Queen' and to their third 'Sheer Heart Attack'.
Mick Rock's narration throughout the book is interestinig as he describes what it was like to work with the band, and each band member. His pictures really tell the story as they show the energy from Queen's live shows during the start of heir career.
Also, you find out the ideas behind some of the photos and album covers.
What suprised me about the product is how big the book was. I thought it was going to be about A4 size but it is actually a lot bigger, which is really good.
Overall, I think it is very good value for money as it is a large book containing rare photos of the band. A good book to treasure.
