DAVID LEWIS is a local author and researcher with a passion for Liverpool's history. He has compiled major exhibitions, including one on the life of John Moores, the founder of Littlewoods. His previous books for Breedon include Walks Through History: Liverpool, originally published in 2004 and reprinted in 2007 and Southport: Stories and Landscapes in 2006.
