Did you know that 54% of auctions go unsold on eBay?
Use eBay properly and you really can convert that pile of unwanted stuff in the loft into pounds. You really can get a small business up and running, and in front of an audience of millions. And you really can find some astonishing bargains to spend your money on.
But if you're one of the many who don't share in the secrets of eBay, then the reverse can and will become true. And quickly.
Dreams of earning extra pocket money get swallowed up in fees and auctions nobody is interested in. That great bargain suddenly appears otherwise once the postage charge is added. And any hopes of that sideline business soon disappear, potentially taking your money with it.
The independent UK guide to eBay 2009 is here to help. eBay isn't tricky, it potentially can transform your bank balance, and it can save you money. It's just it really helps to have some extra assistance in your corner.
Fully up-to-date and bigger than ever, this guide crams in page after page of invaluable buying and selling advice, bringing together UK eBay experts, step-by-step tutorials, essential guidance and a few of the pitfalls to avoid in the process.
On top of that, over 100 websites and software tools that claim to be able to help you in your eBay adventure are put to the test by a team of experts.
The end result is an easy-to-follow, entirely independent and UK-specific guide that's been put together with one goal in mind: to help you make the most out of eBay.

Customer Reviews
Very good book for complete novices.
This book explains how to use and work with Ebay and their financial arm Paypal in an easy to read style with many illustrations to assist the reader. It takes you through various stages both as a buyer and a seller right from the basics, and explains some of the potential pitfalls; as such it would be an invaluable tool for anyone new to Ebay as it explains things which might take you some months to work out yourself as you are using Ebay.
But if you've been a regular user of Ebay for about six months you will already have sussed out nearly all of what this book explains, as essentially, all the book does is nothing more than what Ebay themselves explain if you take the time to look.
In any case much of it is common sense.
In a nutshell: very good book for absolute beginners new to Ebay, but no advantage whatsoever to experienced users.
