Synopsis
After losing out to Arsenal in the 2001-2002 season Manchester United were determined not to suffer another trophyless campaign. A bad start and a series of injuries to key players however made another barren year look extremely likely. But as the season reached its climax, Sir Alex Ferguson's team hit a run of form that carried them past the stuttering Arsenal to the top of the league and their eighth title in eleven years. This account captures all the developments of a remarkable season, including an interview with the illustrious manager and a look at the youth team. A bonus DVD features action from the previous Premiership campaigns.
From the Back Cover
Manchester United are champions of English football once again. The Premiership trophy has returned to Old Trafford following an eighth championship in eleven years.
The start to United’s season was dominated by injuries and results were mixed but by December, United’s good form in the Champions League was being matched in the Premiership and soon United had proven their class by beating Newcastle United, Liverpool and Arsenal. The new year saw United reaching the Worthington Cup Final and thrashing West Ham 6-0 in the FA Cup. Their passage through the second phase of the Champions League included home and away victories over Juventus. In the Premiership they were now unstoppable and did not lose again all season.
However, with three months to go United were still eight points behind Arsenal but Sir Alex Ferguson was not going to be defeated and his powers of motivation drove his team forward, pushing aside every challenge encountered. Not even the thrilling unlucky defeat by Real Madrid in the Champions League could spoil United’s focus in the Premiership. The title was heading back to Old Trafford and Ferguson knew it. The fight back in the league was complete on the penultimate weekend of the season. United defeated Charlton Athletic emphatically at home while Arsenal lost, meaning United were champions again! This celebratory DVD is the complete souvenir of a remarkable season by a remarkable team.

I think that this dvd is to sum up manchester untied season in this dvd there are classic victorys over Aresnal,Liverpool and newcastle also great goals and great saves this also shows that manchester are back to their best and may well be for many years to come
We've got our Trophy back! Here's how we did it.
The definitive review of an amazing season in the life of Manchester United FC. Relive our less than auspicious start to the season as Arsene W*ng*r's pompous and boastful Arsenal storm into a lead that had critics proclaiming the end of United's dominance and that Arsenal were the best team on the planet (uh huh) Fast forward through our humilliating 3-1 drubbing by City at Maine Road, and our defeat at OT by Bolton. Watch in amazement as Giggsy misses an open goal against Arsenal and as Diego (He comes from Uruguay - he made the scousers cry)Forlan makes a complete monkey out of Jerzy Dudek at Anfield. Then sit back and watch United put together an incredible run of 18 games unbeaten in the league to overhaul the Gunners and grab our Premiership Trophy back, oh and then there's 44 goals from Ruud van Nistelrooy, sublime passing, awesome freekicks and a lesson from Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in world class football! Not to mention United's valiant fightback in the return leg where we displayed sublime football of our own. (I won't mention the League Cup final!)
If You're a Red Devil - You need to get this, it's that simple!
The Title is back WHERE IT BELONGS!!!!
Relive United's Premiership comeback, 8 points behind at the start of March, Champions come May. Watch stunning double victories over Newcastle and Liverpool, Diego Forlans goals against Liverpool and late, late winner over Chelsea. And an injury hit United defeating Arsenal 2-0 then holding them in their backyard in the big crunch game at Highbury. Plus see if you can find any Ruud Van Nistlerooy goals.
