Synopsis
A serviceable, if stilted, biopic about the eponymous hero in boxing and racial equality, who became heavyweight champ in the '30s despite overwhelming prejudice and Max Schmelling. Real-life boxer Coley Wallace brings a boxer's authenticity to his portrayal of Joe Louis. This film intersperses real-life footage of the great man in action.
