Synopsis
Football fanatic Mark takes his new bride Holly on a romantic honeymoon to Portugal, but does he love the beautiful game more that he loves his beautiful wife? This is the question Holly asks herself when she learns that the country is hosting the European Football Championships and that he’s bought a ticket to every single England match. Soon, Mark’s agenda becomes apparent, though he denies ever lying to Holly, putting it all down to 'coincidence'. Danny Dyer (THE BUSINESS, THE FOOTBALL FACTORY) puts in a comical turn as the neglectful husband, and Vinnie Jones (LOCK, STOCK & TWO SMOKING BARRELS) evokes his alter ego, 'The Boss'.

str8 to DVD then......
saw this last year at a london film event, cracking okayish film with danny playing the same character that he always plays (loveable rouge with a heart) but no surprise it has gone straight to DVD. Worth the price anyhow just to see danny in the bathtub. Nice sunday aternoon film with the lads and a few beers.
Don't bother buying this rubish!
This film is rubish from start to finish. If your a proper football headcase, and you love nothing but football, then get it. Danny Dyer has been in better films, what the hell was the dreams about and the two pointless commentators. If your a fan of Danny Dyer, don't buy this. Buy these: Is Harry on the boat?, The football factory and the buiseness.
Don't bother!
Being a fan of Danny Dyer's street cred character roles, and reading the rave reviews from others on Amazon, I ordered this film.
I found the characters irritating, the jokes weak, the arty film techniques unnecessary (what were those animation and daydream sequences all about?) and basically the story line was worthless. I gave up after 20 minutes of boredom. No surprise this film went straight to video. Thankfully I didn't buy it, it was a rental so it only cost £2.
Do yourself a favour- avoid!
