The World's Greatest DVD5
Whilst thinking of what to write in this review, I got to pondering - "How can I, as a viewer and fan of this DVD, really do it justice?" I have thought about this a lot, and the answer is that I can't. Its too strong, and the words I have at my disposal are too weak. Suffices to say, the music, the commentary and the goals themselves excite me more than a dirty movie ever could. Bravo World's Greatest Goals, bravo.

I once was lost but now I'm found!5
Before I purchased this, I felt that there was a void on my shelf (and indeed my life) crying out for a video such as this, but now that void has been filled and boy has it!

This is quite simply the best video I've ever owned. If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars I would, but I can't. From the silver tongued narration, using commentary such as, and I quote:

"Maradona, turns like a little eel, little squat man, comes inside Fenwick, leaves him for dead, outside Butcher, leaves him for dead, and puts the ball away, and that is why Maradona is the greatest player in the worrrrlllllddddd!"

To the melodic theme tune:

DER DER DER..............................

DER DER DER DER!!!!

Sheer brilliance, what more can I say!!

Not worth buying2
I love football ( soccer ), and i own alot of football dvds, especially the world cup goals dvds which are really good.
I was looking for other good football dvds, and i stumbled upon this dvd, as you can see from the amazon product discribtion, nothing was really clear about what to expect from this dvd, and no one before me has wrote or rated this dvd, so i gave this a try..
It was really disapointing ! the goals were collected from a number of world cup competitions from 1966 to 1986..i have no idea on what basis did they chose those goals, some were okay, but others were just regular goals.
The commentetor or the narrator as you will was boring, talked slowly and didn't add any excitment to the footage.
the footage itself was also bad, seemed so old. some camera angles of some of the goals were bad.
the music was worst of all, it seemed like an old 70s animal documentary show music, very bad !
I gave this only 2 stars, it deserves worse, but because i love football i added a star, and they were very few good goals actually, but overall, i would advice to avoid buying this, because its not worth it, buy one of the last 4 world cup dvds or the European cup dvds, those are much much better !
