complete CON !!!!1
The heroes dvd is a complete waste of space. please approach with causion.
1 first of all its all old dvds that most boxing fans have.
2 a lot of the fights that are advertised on the disc are not really on there. the major one being benn v mcclennan ! which is a great fight that i was looking forward to seeing on dvd.
also a few of hameds fights and calzaghes fights that are listed on not really there.
3 this is the biggest problem with this. they have put the calzaghe - jeff lacy fight in the pack 2 times!! which is complete pointless and a waste of our enjoyment. why frank warren has done this is a puzzle.
its featured on both of the calzaghe discs, and the second disc is just the lacy fight . so basically this disc u would never even use or get out of the packet, why would you ??
i cant understand why warren didnt put on a disc of calzaghe vs kessler ,hopkins or even mafredo. he promoted all of these fights. so why couldnt he do that instead of wasting our money.

for these reasons im recommending people steer clear of this

Misleading, money-making opportunity by Frank Warren1
The "Hereos - best of British boxing" is advertised as an "action packed medley of British sporting gold in a 4-disc collection". No where in the description does it say that it contains the previously released DVDs "The best of prince Nassem" "Ricky the hitman Hatton" and the "Joe Calzaghe super champion", so basically for your £18 you are getting one unreleased DVD. The description of this DVD is misleading and underhand and I am very annoyed at amazon for recommending this DVD on the basis of previously buying the DVDs it contains!!!

Great For newcomers3
Ok if you don't already own the Calzaghe, Hatton and Hamed dvds that have been released by Frank Warren/Lace then this is a great purchase. However if you are a fight fan that already has dvds on these 3 then its not really worth it - since all the footage and fights is the same as the previous releases.
