Mafia Mayhem!!5
Right, first off all, judging by the dates the other reviews of this game were written,id hazard a guess they havent actually played the PSP version.
Why?..becuase it is a world apart from the abortive attempt that is the ps2 game.
GodFather:Mob wars on PSP is excellent. You have two modes of play, story and 'mob wars'.The story has you as nobody that works for the Corleone family, and you work your way through various jobs for them-running in parallel to the film which is really cool!
Your charachter can build up various stats along the way,and his rank, reputation and money...
Then..'Mob wars' kicks in.Basically you get to play a mafia version of Risk in New York!
Sounds odd,but its what sets this game apart..the two modes run together, progressing in one helps with the other..you have to outmanouver the rival familys through various means, protect and take over teritory.

If you like GTA style running and gunning {and garotting!!} and youd like to see if you can make it to be the Don of New York through Strategic gameplay..this is for you!

The graphics are great, the sound is atmospheric..basically if you have a PSP,and you like mafia films etc..GET THIS!!!!

fun but flawed3
im a big fan of the godfather series so i was excited about being able to play the godfather game on my psp, so i went out and bought it. At first i really enjoyed the game killing gangsters etc but i soon became frustrated by the akward camera angles which have made me fail missions numerous times and the fact in shootouts instead of auto aiming to the guy next to me who is shooting me it will aim at a civillian the otherside of the road getting me killed. This game is fun at times but not worth paying 30 quid for so if you are gonna buy this game wait till the price comes down then buy it.

Good but problems.4
For:
- Great fun.
-good shooting system i found.
- good graphics.
- mob wars is entertaining and addictive.
Against:
- Can't skip video parts, slow and tedious after a while, if i could skip them then i would be more willing to complete the game for a 3rd time and more.
- Camera angles can go slightly odd, so you miss the action.
- Targeting system can get the wrong person, slightly annoying but it can be worked around.
-can't replay any missions, which would be fun going back to certain ones.
Overall:
good game well worth the money just has things that could be improved.
