Synopsis
Canine adventures abound in K-9, K-911, and K-9 - P.I. The films follow the antics of Detective Thomas Dooley and his German Shepherd partner Jerry Lee.

Good Fun, And Good Value
James Belushi (Taking Care of Business, Curly Sue and Red Heat) is detective Dooley, a cop who doesn't really like rules, and certainly doesn't like dogs. When he is paired with Jerry Lee, all sorts of shenanigans take place, including Jerry being jealous of Dooley's girlfriend Tracey. When Dooley's 4 legged friend helps him with a big case, Dooley warms to the dog, and a great relationship begins. In K-911, Jerry makes another friend in another police dog, and Dooley gets interested in the female owner, and in K-9 PI, Dooley goes solo, and Jerry Lee is starting to show his age.

This is a great series of films to just chill out to, they're not overly-complicated, but they're not OTT silly either, both Belushi and Koton (Jerry Lee) work really well and there's non-stop fun from start to finish. The later film was not as good as the first two, but at this price you really cannot complain.

Well worth getting.
