Simply superb5
If you have ever visited Yorkshire and stayed awhile amidst it's ancient charms, this book is for you.
The photos are actually a selection of the very best that appear as a regular feature on the back page of Monday's Yorkshire Post. They are simply superb. The skill of the photographer in each case is just staggering, somehow they get the perfect view, the use of light and shade at times is spectacular.
Personally I know the area around Ripon in North Yorkshire the best, this region is well represented in the book and the shot of Brimham Rocks in sunshine reduced me to tears! There is a surprise on every page, lots of contrasts and you just feel like you are in the picture.
This is a book that you will return to again and again for a guaranteed source of pleasure.

Yorkshire's Picture Post1
This is a truly dreadful book to be avoided at all cost. Tiny "thumbnail" photos of beautiful places pack the small pages. Mediocre pictures will dull captions fill whole pages. Quite frankly, this is the very worst book of its kind that I've seen anywhere in the world. A terrible waste of money.
