Manufacturer's Description
The best selling GardenVac 2700 from Flymo is hugely popular, thanks to the unique 4 in 1 system, making tidying the garden easy and fun.

Versatile, your GardenVac 2700 can pick up most kinds of lightweight debris, thanks to the powerful 2700 watt motor. The debris is collected in a 40 litre collection bag, and the 3:1 shredding ratio ensures that you won't be making too many trips to the compost heap to empty out your garden waste. The unique jet vacuum is great for picking up wet leaves and other stubborn debris.

A simple slide of a lever, and your GardenVac 2700 is transformed from vacuum to blower, generating a blow speed of 212km/hr, the garden waste will be tidied up in no time.

A shoulder strap comes with your GardenVac 2700, taking the strain out of carrying, meaning you will feel less fatigued.

The 12 metre mains cable on your GardenVac 2700 gives you the freedom and flexibility to move around your lawn, without having to worry about running out of cable.

You don't need to worry about maintenance or servicing when you buy a Flymo product, because they are designed to the highest standards of quality and reliability, and only require the minimum of attention to keep them working perfectly over their long life.

    Flymo Garden Vac 27004
Read the previous reviews for this. My comments after using a couple of times are:
    1. I find it best to use blow then vac to pick up debris, I didn't think the suction was as good as some reviews suggest. The blow is though, so best to pile everything up in one heap then use vac.
    2. If you are using vac to pick up cans, gravel etc then you MUST remove the shredder lines first - this is easy to do, otherwise you will ruin your lines as one review on here said happened to him.
    3. As Iam using mine to keep a large drive clean then the next purchase might have to be the wheel attachment that is fitted to the nozzle

    The best for the price5
This item does exactly as advertised and makes easy work of clearing up the autumn leaves. The leaf catch bag is quite fiddly to fit correctly, but after a bit of perseverance, and refitting after initially using the garden vac, it stays in place nicely. The three options of blow, suck and suck with an added blow really makes picking up even wet leaves easy, even when they're stuck fast to the patio. This () is the cheapest garden vac around which also performs excellently.

My only worry is that the plastic blades used to cut the leaves on entry into the catch bag really don't last long at all, and it only comes with 5. My initial session of 30 minutes went through one alone, however they are available to buy online.

    Pleasantly surprised...4
I ordered this garden vac having read the reviews of it on Amazon and of other comparable products. None seemed to be without their flaws and so I thought I'd hedge my bets and go for something at the cheaper end of the spectrum. My expectations were that it would do a reasonable job when set to "blow" but my hopes for the vacuum setting weren't high.

I was quite surprised by the size of the Flymo when it arrived (although this may be standard as I haven't used a garden vacuum previously); it is not a small tool (about 3ft long) and takes up a fair chunk of our garden shed, especially with the bag attached. Putting it together, in particular attaching the bag, was a fiddly operation but took about half an hour overall.

Using it is very easy, with a straightforward forward/back "gearstick" to set it to blow or suck. It did a great job clearing the leaves from our patio, where there was relatively little resistance. It had a harder time when trying to clear leaves from our lawn and gravelled areas - and if this is why you are thinking of buying it I'd perhaps recommend that you invest in something more powerful. But it did the job in the end and then, to my surprise, also did a reasonably good job hoovering up the leaves we had blown into piles. I had almost thought from previous reviews that it would be a waste of time even to try this function but that was not the case and I will be using it in future.

In summary: an excellent vacuum for a patio, reasonably effective elsewhere (both when set to blow and suck), a bit bulky but easy to use and good value for money.
