Everything you need to know about purchasing a property in Greece
This is one of the best books on the market, this covers everthing you would need to know and what to look for, and also what questions to ask when placed in a legal situation reguarding a purchase. The Greek purchase system is based on Contracts and can be very slow so always give yourself a lot of time and do not expect everything to be right first time and things can and will change right up to the last minute.

It also explains a lot about the various taxes which have to be paid. However do note that new Tax rules have come into Greece from 1st January 2006 so parts of this may be a bit out of date now.
