A Must for any European Trip
This is my second Alan Rogers book and I would not travel with out one it has brief discriptions of the camp sites, listing all the amenities on site with estimated prices, good travel directions, if you are travelling and just stopping where ever you feel like visiting this book is perfect and is very easy to use.
Confused
This book does have the basic facts, but needs to be used in conjunction with other guides or the web site. I would have preferred an Alan Rogers guide book looking just at German sites and having the space to go into more detail. It was not immediately obvious how to find sites within a specific region without trawling through the whole thing.
Good basic guide to the better European campsites
If you don't want to buy a guide for every single country this is a good book to have. It covers the whole of Europe from Scandinavia down to Greece, but misses out Poland and Serbia. Perhaps there are no campsites there?
